I started riding when I was seven years old, competing in barrel racing and western pleasure. When I was turned 14 I decided I wanted to switch gears and learn english hunter jumper and equitation. I trained and competed in this discipline for many years. In 2007 I opened up a Milwaukee magazine and saw an advertisement for the sport of polo. I started lessons the next day and purchased my first polo pony the following month. Bitten by the polo bug I started traveling and playing both arena and grass polo throughout the Chicago area and on occasion in Aiken SC and Florida. After eight years of playing I had a pretty serious polo accident on the grass. Following a long and painful recovery I decided it was time to stop traveling. I joined Milwaukee Polo club in 2014. My time with Milwaukee has been a great experience, we have a lot of fun together on and off the field. I look forward to the years ahead and I am grateful for having the opportunity to participate in this incredible sport.
