Maggie Coakley
  • Our horses are completely off during the off-season.

  • From September through March their only responsibility is to eat and sleep

  • Each winter Jim brings most of his horses to his farm in Aiken, South Carolina. Winters in Wisconsin are so tough on outdoor animals that this allows them to have a more enjoyable off-season

  • The horses that he leaves in Wisconsin are young (or "green" horses) that he needs to ride and train throughout the offseason
